We are looking for a highly motivated outside sales professional to join our team as anOutside Commercial Sales Representativeresponsible for developing and cultivating existing and potential commercial customers in the Fort Walton Beach, FL market and surrounding areas.

Batteries Plus Bulbs is the nation's largest growing battery and light bulb franchise. We have grown from a single location in 1988 and today have over 700 retail store locations across the United States and Puerto Rico. Stocking hard-to-find batteries and light bulbs is our specialty. Our stores offer national brands and exceptional value. Our expansive product line, knowledge, and customer service differentiate us from the competition. Today, we also service both retail customers and business customers for their battery and lighting needs as well as offer repair and battery replacement services for cell phones, tablets, and laptops.

The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and possess strong customer service, relationship building, and problem resolution skills. Two plus years of outside B2B sales experience required. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.This position is base pay plus uncapped commission structure!


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred

  • 2-5 years' work experience in sales, work experience must include 2 or more years in direct face to face B2B sales

  • Demonstrated ability to generate and qualify new leads through scheduled appointments and cold calls

  • Demonstrated ability to close sales

  • Working understanding of Microsoft Office and capable of adapting learning to incorporate new technology. Strong knowledge and proficiency in Excel

  • Ability to communicate using both oral and written means. Ability to make presentations to small groups of employers, owners, or customers

  • Strong customer service, relationship building and problem resolution skills.

  • Must possess excellent prospecting, negotiating, follow up and closing skills

  • Solid mathematical skills - Ability to calculate algebraic expressions, percentage, ratios, and measurements to prepare special pricing and bid quotes as requested

  • Must be process oriented, have the ability to execute BP sales process, and follow directions; must be open to new ideas, coachable, and have a team spirit

  • Ability to work autonomously, and in a team environment. Ability to take ownership of a project, handle multiple projects/tasks and lead a project team to desired results. Strongly motivated with sense of urgency

  • Highly energetic and a self- starter

  • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Overnight travel up to 50%
