Job Summary: Support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). Specifically, provides management, direction, and planning support to ITC Course, AFSOC/A2 staff, DGS-SOF IFTU and other intelligence support activities.
Essential Job Functions:
ITC Cell Instructors are tasked with providing academic instruction and scenario-based training to both 11 SOIS and external agency personnel on ISR employment. To qualify as an instructor, a person must have completed at least one deployment as an ITC and received positive feedback from the team they supported. In addition, Instructors must be well versed in, and able to brief topics to include (but are not limited to): ISR Tactical Controller (ITC) fundamentals, Supported and Supporting Unit construct and targeting methodologies, ISR platform capabilities/limitations and ISR employment operational considerations. Instructors are responsible for the administrative duties of the training cell to include: maintaining/updating the course schedule, curriculum and training scenarios, writing student feedback, and maintaining course trackers. On an as needed basis, Instructors will provide ISR subject matter expertise (SME) to include: adhoc training sessions, engage in table-top discussions at various partner units, participate as guest speakers at conferences, and facilitate ISR integration into USAF and AFSOC level exercises.
Required to be a superior instructor and briefer, capable of assimilating change and incorporating it into a classroom environment on short notice. Course instructors must remain flexible with understanding new and emerging TTPs, and be able to teach to them without first-hand experience if required. Must maintain an 11 IS base-line FMV Qualification, and an Instructor Rated Operator Certification. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate course schedules.

-Experience working DGS-SOF PED
- Must have an Associate's degree as well as proof of completion of any branch of service Basic Instructor Course
10 years' experience with an Associate's Degree
9 years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree
8 years' experience with a Master's Degree
4 years' experience with a Doctorate Degree
- TS/SCI Clearance, and willingness to travel when needed for conferences, working groups, planning committees, and seminars (less than 10%)
