Pensacola Bay Support Services, a Joint Venture of IAP Worldwide Services and EMCOR Government Services, has been awarded the Pensacola Base Operations Support Contract.

Job Summary:

Responsible for installing, calibrating, troubleshooting and maintaining control instrumentation systems.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Installs control networks and program distributive control software, including other associated hardware.

  • Optimizes the performance of control loops to ensure the efficient operation of the various processing systems.

  • Works closely with Operations, gaining a detailed understanding of operating parameters. Ensures that maintenance interventions are both appropriate and effective.

  • Advises Operations of process adjustments to ensure operating practices are updated accordingly.

  • Ensures production equipment is properly configured and/or set up for desired control and feedback.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Must have a 2 year technical degree in a related field with three (3) years of Electronic Control System experience.

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of instrument shop/electronic experience in all required instrumentation fields.

Licenses & Certifications:

Successful completion of the ACS ECT Apprentice program is required.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Must have demonstrated mathematical skills to include familiarity with the metric system.

  • Must have demonstrated understanding of physics principles.

  • Must have the ability to think in abstract terms, solve complex problems, and apply troubleshooting skills.
