Merkur Wind park consists of 66 Haliade* 150 6MW Direct Drive WTG’s. The site is located 45 Kilometers off the German coast. Mob and Demob will be from Eeshaven Netherlands. Work Rotation is 14 days on 14 days off, working 12hrs/day. During rotation, appropriate
free on-site accommodation and meals will be provided on SOV Vessel.
Supervisors will be in charge of the management of site activities including planning, organizing, integrating and monitoring of resources such as labor, tools and technical assistants as required to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements.
Supervisor has extensive experience in the Repair/Maintenance/Operation of Wind Turbine Generators and auxiliary equipment.
This position will supervise work to achieve high quality results on time with zero safety incidents
Lead a team and ensure the safety, health, and welfare of all team members.
Point of contact with Client Site Representatives and first point of contact for both preventive & corrective teams on site, supporting as necessary.
Reporting directly to Fieldcore Service Manager.
Manage Resourse replacement during rotation when necessary, in coordination with SM.
Lead, monitor, and control daily progress to ensure the target plan is achieved in agreement with client Site Representatives with a high focus on quality and with zero safety incidents within area of resposnsability.
Ensure that safety and health measures are adhered to on site with zero safety violations.
Ensure all employees complete mandatory safety training.
Ensure all personal protective equipment and other safety and first aid equipment are available in adequate numbers and in good operating conditions.
Follow up on safety concerns or suggestions from the team and provide feedback.
Review all safety violations or concerns immediately and implement corrective actions to prevent from occurring in the future.
Supervise:o Measurements for Mechanical Plant and Electrical Aparatuso Making and Fitting Mechanical Plant and Electrical Aparatuso Assembly of Mechanical Plant and Electrical Aparatuso Disassembly and Assembly Mechanical Plant and Electrical Aparatuso Test / Inspect / Troubleshoot Mechanical Plant and Electrical Aparatuso Maintenance of Mechanical Plant and Electrical Aparatuso Understand and Read Mechanical and Electrical Drawingso Rigging Tackle Identificationo Safe Systems of Work and Method Statements.o Adherence to site safety requirements and local legislation.o Assembly of Electrical Plant Componentso Maintenance of Electrical Kit and Componentso Test / Inspect / Troubleshoot Electrical components and equipment.
Perform other duties as assignedQualifications/Requirements
Min 1 years of experience as a Supervisor or 3 years of experience leading teams and planning maintenance activities
Demonstrated progressive, responsible experience with various types of Wind Turbine Generators and site accountabilities is required
Travel to and from field assignments will be required.
A regional Recognised Qualification or equivilant in Mechanical, Hydraulic or Electrical Engineering fields
Full GWO and Offshore Sea survival
Proven track record working similar WTG’s platform would be desirable
Ability to work under pressure.
